5. The fault detection system with signal source
This system is usually used to indicate the grounding or short circuit fault point of overhead lines. It can also be called overhead line fault indicator. The detection principle is that when the line has a grounding fault, the signal source receives the signal from the PT of the transformer substation, and after judgment, it sends out the command, and the signal source feeds back to the fault indicator hanging on the phase line.
The remote monitoring system can monitor all kinds of operation states of the line in real time, such as power transmission, power failure, phase loss, grounding, short circuit, over-current, etc., and quickly confirm the change and location of the operation state of the monitored line. When happening power transmission, power failure, phase loss, grounding, short circuit, over-current and other operating conditions of the line change, the line signal collector of the digital indicator detects the changed signals, then the changed signals are transmitted out by wireless devices in the form of coding.
